The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in connection with the “September 27 – World Tourism Day” signed an order to establish a professional holiday – “Day of Tourism Workers”. Based on the order, the days of the “Open Doors” are announced in all regions of the republic and the reserves operating under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In this connection, the State historical and cultural reserve “Keshikchidag” started the activities of the project “Let’s get known with Keshikchidag”. 12.09.2017 in the Agstafa regional Cultural Center there was a conference for educators of the region. Considering the huge number of participants, the pavilion “Let’s get known with Keshikchidag” was constructed in the garden of the Cultural Center, where souvenirs, shirts, caps, pens, flyers, discs depicting the reserve, as well as carpets reflecting antiquity, national ornaments, paintings, samples of material culture found during archaeological excavations on the territory of the reserve were exposed, a documentary film entitled “Stone Annals of the Ancient Edge” was demonstrated through the use of the overhead projector, besides the conference participants were treated with tea, coffee and sweets. The event was attended by Maharram Guliyev, the Head of the Executive Authority of the Agstafa region, Rafik Gandilov, the executive officer of the Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic and the region’s education workers, graduates who entered the country’s universities and scored high scores. The official guest was given a briefcase with presents representing Keshikchidag. Our event drew the attention of the region public and the conference participants.
