In his interview, Associate Professor Parviz Gasimov, PhD in History, Deputy Director for Artificial Intelligence at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), discusses the application of digital technologies in archaeological research and the opportunities they create for the documentation of cultural heritage. 17 Aug,2026 We present an interview with Hilal Beydemir, an official of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and a specialist in digital architecture, restoration, and conservation, on the significance of the training and the application of modern technologies in cultural heritage documentation. The interview was conducted as part of the theoretical and practical training program on "Digital Architectural Representations and Documentation Methods," jointly organized by the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). 17 Aug,2026 Along with the application of LiDAR and 3D scanning technologies in documenting archaeological heritage, interviews were also conducted with participants and experts during the training. We present the interview regarding the objectives of the training, the role of digital technologies in archaeological research, and the practical sessions held. 15 Aug,2026 The second day of the theoretical and practical training on "Digital Architectural Rendering and Documentation Methods" jointly organized by the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture and the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS, and led by Turkish specialists was conducted on the territory of the "Keshikchidagh" State Historical and Cultural Reserve. 14 Aug,2026 On August 8, 2026, a meeting dedicated to the conclusion of theoretical and practical training on "Digital Architectural Documentation and Methods" was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in the Aghstafa region. The event was jointly organized by the "Keshikchidag" State Historical and Cultural Reserve—transferred to the management of the State Service for Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan—and the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS. 11 Aug,2026 The first day of theoretical and practical training on "Digital Architectural Images and Documentation Methods," organized jointly by the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture and the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS, led by Turkish specialists, was conducted on the territory of the "Keshikchidagh" State Historical and Cultural Reserve. 10 Aug,2026 In this context, a series of scientific and practical training sessions titled "Digital Architectural Graphics and Documentation Methods" is successfully underway. 10 Aug,2026 Application of LiDAR Technology in the Documentation and Digital Modeling of Archaeological Heritage 09 Aug,2026 The training sessions titled "Digital Architectural Graphics and Documentation Methods" were continued at the 8,000-year-old Goytepe Neolithic settlement located in the Tovuz region. 08 Aug,2026 “Rəqəmsal arxeologiya üzrə praktiki təlimlər” 07 Aug,2026
