On September 3, 2025, a group of tour participants from Baku visited the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve as part of a scientific and educational excursion.
During the visit, the guests became acquainted with various landmarks within the Reserve’s territory, including the “Ilham Aliyev Peak,” nearby ancient caves, preserved frescoes on the walls and ceilings of these caves, as well as historic water wells and food storage facilities.
The participants also explored the burial mounds located in the Keshikchidagh Kurgans Valley, where they received detailed information about the material and cultural heritage of ancient times.
Such excursions play a significant role in the scientific study and public promotion of our historical, cultural, and archaeological heritage.
