On the occasion of September 27 – Remembrance Day, a round table discussion with the participation of veterans of the 44-day Patriotic War was held at the administrative building of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, operating under the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture.
The main purpose of the event was to honor the cherished memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in the Patriotic War and to convey the battle path traversed by the veterans to the younger generation.
The round table began with a minute of silence to pay tribute to the souls of the martyrs. Afterwards, our veterans Vugar Hajiyev and Shahin Imamguluyev, who fought heroically in the 44-day Patriotic War, spoke about their honorable battle paths and the events they experienced during those days. In the speeches, it was emphasized that the historic Victory achieved by the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev in the 44-day Patriotic War holds a special place in the memory of our people. The importance of keeping the dear memory of the martyrs alive and passing their heroism on to future generations was highlighted.
