In connection with September 27 – Remembrance Day, an event titled “Heroes Who Made History Through the Eyes of Youth” was organized jointly by the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, operating under the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, and the Agstafa Youth House Social Service Institution.
The main purpose of the event, held with the participation of youth and volunteers, was to honor the cherished memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, to convey the truths of the Patriotic War to the younger generation, and to contribute to strengthening their attachment to national and moral values, the Motherland, and statehood traditions.The event commenced with a minute of silence to pay tribute to the dear memory of all martyrs who lost their lives for the independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of our country. Afterward, a documentary film was screened for the participants, depicting Azerbaijan’s historic Victory in the Patriotic War, the national solidarity of our people, the heroism of the Azerbaijani Army, and the matchless self-sacrifice of our martyrs for the Motherland. During the event, it was emphasized that the 44-day Patriotic War, led by the Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, was not only a crucial milestone in the history of the Azerbaijani people, but also went down in history as a vivid example of national will, unity, solidarity, and love for the Motherland.
