Participants gained practical knowledge of digital architecture and documentation methods as part of theoretical and practical training on “Digital Architectural Rendering and Documentation Methods,” jointly organized by the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture and the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS.
The practical part of the training featured hands-on sessions on the digital documentation of historical and architectural heritage, accurate processing of measurements and data, as well as drafting plans and technical drawings using AutoCAD software. Hilal Beydemir, an employee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and a specialist in digital architecture and restoration-preservation, discussed the training sessions conducted in this area and the application of AutoCAD software in digital architectural documentation.
