On 27 January 2026, a Reporting Meeting organized by the Aghstafa District Executive Authority was held, during which the outcomes of the district’s socio-economic development in 2025 were analyzed, and the priority tasks for 2026 were extensively discussed.
The event was attended by the Head of the Aghstafa District Executive Authority, Mr. Seymur Orucov; the Head of the 11th Territorial Sector of the Department for Territorial-Organizational Issues of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elvin Azadaliyev; Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azer Amiraslanov; representatives of the local intelligentsia; heads of departments and enterprises; as well as representatives of relevant state institutions.
Within the framework of the reporting meeting, a scientific and educational exhibition organized by the Keshikchidagh State Historical and Cultural Reserve attracted particular attention. The exhibition showcased material and cultural artifacts discovered as a result of comprehensive scientific research and archaeological excavations conducted in the Keshikchidagh Kurgan Valley, along with scientific and educational printed materials reflecting the reserve’s activities, as well as visual materials demonstrating the restoration and conservation processes of historical monuments.
The exhibition was met with significant interest and high appreciation by the participants, emphasizing its importance in terms of the scientifically grounded study, preservation, and public presentation of the region’s rich historical and cultural heritage from ancient times to the present day. The exhibition stood out as a clear example of the systematic activities carried out by the Keshikchidagh State Historical and Cultural Reserve in the fields of protection, scientific research, and promotion of national cultural heritage.
