On December 23, 2025, an exhibition and scientific seminar entitled “Heritage Day at ADA: A Bridge from Our Region’s Culture to the Academic World” was held through the joint organization of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, administered by the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS, and the Gazakh Center of ADA University.
The event was organized in two stages — at the Israfil Agha Hammam Art Center and at the Gazakh Center of ADA University. Within the framework of the exhibition, archaeological artifacts obtained as a result of scientific research and excavations conducted in the Keşikçidağ Reserve were displayed, along with photographs, video presentations, printed materials, and a restoration corner.
The second stage of the event continued with a scientific seminar at the Gazakh Center of ADA University. During the seminar, Musa Mursaguliyev, Director of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, and Yegana Goyushlu, an employee of the Gazakh Center of ADA University, delivered speeches on the purpose, significance of the event, and prospects for future cooperation.
Subsequently, Shamil Najafov, Leading Researcher and PhD in History at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS; Lola Huseynova, Senior Researcher and archaeologist; Ulker Allahverdiyeva, anthropologist at the Institute; and independent researcher Faiq Nasibov presented reports on the results of archaeological and anthropological research conducted in the region, including the Keşikçidağ Kurgan Valley, as well as on the cultural heritage of the region.
At the end of the seminar, participants engaged in discussions and exchanged views in a question-and-answer format.
