On August 18, 2025, the staff of the “Keşikçidağ” State Historical and Cultural Reserve became acquainted with the scientific research and archaeological excavation process carried out by the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS at the settlement of Göytəpə, located in the Tovuz district. The expedition leaders and archaeologists in charge of the excavations provided the reserve employees with detailed information about this important Neolithic settlement, its research directions, and the scientific results obtained. In addition, a mutual exchange of scientific ideas was conducted. The Göytəpə settlement serves as an important scientific source not only for Azerbaijani archaeology but also for the study of the ancient cultural history of the South Caucasus as a whole. The material and cultural artifacts discovered here provide valuable material for studying the economy, household, and social life of the Neolithic period.
