On September 27, 2026, a round table dedicated to September 27 – Remembrance Day was organized by the Aghstafa Region Executive Power.
The management and staff of the “Keshikchidagh” State Historical and Cultural Reserve, operating under the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, also attended the event. During their speeches, the reserve’s employees highlighted the significance of the historic Victory achieved by the Azerbaijani Army in the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev in terms of our country’s independence, territorial integrity, and national-spiritual values, while sharing their impressions and thoughts from the war period.
The speeches also covered the bravery and selflessness demonstrated by culture workers who participated in the Patriotic War and attained the heights of martyrdom and veteran status. Furthermore, they discussed the ongoing work regarding the protection and restoration of historical-cultural heritage monuments in the liberated territories, as well as the process of reviving and restoring cultural life in those areas.
