\nDuring the archaeological investigations carried out at the Yovshanlidere kurgans, this ceramic vessel discovered from Kurgan No. 4 belongs to the category of typical artifacts characteristic of the final phase of the Middle Bronze Age. The vessel is grey in color and made of well-fired clay. In terms of form, it features a broad body, a neck narrowing upwards, and a slightly flared mouth. Circular grooved line ornaments are observed on the body, and these incised motifs reflect both the decorative preferences and the distinctive technological features of the period.
\nThe surface of the vessel is neatly smoothed, and it is presumed to have been shaped on a potter\u2019s wheel. The broad body and the slightly flattened base indicate that it was used in everyday household activities, likely for storing liquids or grain-based products.
\nBased on the archaeological context, the placement of the vessel in the kurgan as part of the burial inventory suggests a ritual function. Household vessels included in burials reflect beliefs associated with providing the deceased for the afterlife, a practice linked to the cultic traditions specific to the region.
