\nThe agate stones discovered in the Jeyranchol area of the Aghstafa district are among the significant archaeological artifacts that provide valuable information about the jewelry, religious rituals, and trade relations of ancient societies in the area. Agate has been one of the most prized semi-precious stones since antiquity and was used for various purposes. Agate, a variety of quartz, is primarily composed of silicon dioxide (SiO\u2082). Its unique colors and patterns vary depending on the presence of different minerals, appearing in shades of red, orange, brown, gray, white, green, and blue. In some cultures, agate stones were used in religious worship and sacrificial rituals. They were also known to be buried alongside the deceased, believed to protect their souls. The agate artifacts found in Keshikchidagh typically include engraved beads, cylindrical or round-shaped ornaments, decorative stones, and gemstone settings for rings.<\/p>\n
