\nObsidian, a naturally occurring volcanic glass, possesses a structure that allows for the creation of extremely sharp edges. The presence of obsidian artifacts in the Keshikchidagh area suggests that ancient people either sourced this material from nearby volcanic regions or engaged in long-distance trade to obtain it. Since the Stone Age, obsidian has been widely used for crafting tools and weapons, often exhibiting sharper edges than bone or even metal blades.
