In the intellectual competition held at Gazakh City Full Secondary School No. 2 named after Samad Vurgun, first, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, followed by a minute of silence observed with deep respect to honor the memory of the architect of independent Azerbaijan, National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and territorial integrity of our Motherland. Following the official part, students grouped into 25 teams tested their knowledge in the intellectual contest. Youth were asked questions covering topics such as historical and cultural monuments located in our liberated territories, our rich national and cultural heritage, its historical roots, and the vital duties resting upon the youth in preserving and passing this heritage down to future generations. At the conclusion of the competition, the winning teams were determined based on the jury&#8217;s evaluation. Thus, the 1st place was awarded to team &#8220;Azerbaijan&#8221;, the 2nd place to team &#8220;Khankendi&#8221;, and the 3rd place to team &#8220;Gizil Hajili&#8221;.
