The reserve is managed by the State Service for Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture.<\/p>\n<p>In connection with this, a round table was organized on the theme of determining the research directions to be pursued in the area together with the ANAS scientists. During the round table, an extensive exchange of views took place regarding the investigations carried out within the reserve, discovered material and cultural artifacts, ancient settlements, and traces of Stone Age human activity. At the same time, issues such as determining the precise coordinates of the research sites, planning future research directions, and incorporating the gathered data into scientific circulation were discussed. It was noted that the territory of the &#8220;Keshikchidagh&#8221; State Historical and Cultural Reserve is rich not only in medieval religious and architectural monuments but also possesses a wealthy archaeological layer reflecting historical stages starting from the Paleolithic period and continuing through subsequent eras. In this regard, the research conducted here holds special significance for studying the earliest human settlement processes in Azerbaijan and determining the historical development stages of the region.
