The event was held within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between the two institutions. Opening the meeting, N. Mergenbay, Director of the &#8220;Ancient Taraz Monuments&#8221; State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, spoke about the significance of historical and cultural ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the established cooperation relations between our organizations, and future prospects for joint activities. Subsequently, the floor was given to Musa Mursaguliyev, Director of the &#8220;Keshikchidagh&#8221; State Historical and Cultural Reserve. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of cultural heritage and presented detailed information about the rich historical and cultural monuments located within the reserve, including ancient caves, kurgans (burial mounds), and other archaeological sites. The necessity of further expanding cooperation in future scientific research, educational programs, and international projects was also highlighted. Following the discussion, an online excursion to the archaeological and architectural monuments within the &#8220;Ancient Taraz Monuments&#8221; State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve was organized for the participants. During the excursion, comprehensive information was provided regarding the rich historical heritage of the Taraz region, ancient urban culture, architectural monuments, and material cultural artifacts uncovered during archaeological excavations. Within the scope of the meeting, the parties exchanged experiences in the field of protection, study, and promotion of cultural heritage, and held an exchange of views on organizing joint scientific conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and other projects in the future.
