The primary objective of the three-day training was to explore modern methods and technologies in archaeology, adopt international expertise, and further expand scientific cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey. On the first day, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, President of ANAS, and Associate Professor Farhad Guliyev, Director of the ANAS Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology, delivered speeches emphasizing the significance of international scientific collaboration and the necessity of enhancing exchange of experience in the field of archaeology.During the sessions, it was clearly highlighted that effective archaeological research is not limited to scientific institutes; it is conducted in close cooperation with specialists from the reserves under the Ministry of Culture. The role of reserve staff is crucial in the study, conservation, and protection of monuments, making such trainings a vital platform for professional development. \u0130n this regard, this training is of particular importance for the staff of the &#8220;Keshikchidagh&#8221; State Historical and Cultural Reserve. The knowledge and practical experience gained will enable the study, documentation, and preservation of multilayered archaeological sites within the reserves based on modern approaches.
