The excursion was led by Shamil Najafov (Associate Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and leading researcher at the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology of ANAS) and Professor Dr. Martin Gruber (Head of the Department of Ancient Near Eastern Studies at the Julius Maximilians University of W\u00fcrzburg, Germany). During the excursion, it was noted that the Agaligtapa settlement, dating back to the Late Bronze \u2013 Early Iron Age, holds significant scientific importance for studying the ancient settlement history of the region.
