This garden was created with the purpose of immortalizing the cherished memory of our martyrs, who heroically sacrificed their lives under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief during the 44-day Patriotic War, inscribing a glorious page in history. The choice of the almond tree here is not accidental. The climate and natural conditions of the Jeyranchol region—arid lands, flat relief, and water scarcity—require the cultivation of strong and resilient plants. The almond tree, embodying vitality, endurance, and renewal, symbolizes both the steadfast will and the indomitable spirit of the martyrs. The “Almond Garden,” planted around the Reserve’s Information Center, is under constant care by the staff, regularly irrigated, and provided with special maintenance. The rooting of almond trees—beloved and widely cultivated across many countries—into the vast lands of Jeyranchol stands as both a testament to adaptation to nature and a sign of loyalty to the sacred memory of the martyrs. Every year, on the anniversaries of the martyrs as well as on significant days dedicated to our army and soldiers, new almond trees are planted in this garden.

The Victory Garden
The “Victory Garden” is a special commemorative site established by the Keshikchidagh State Historical and Cultural Reserve.
