The event brought together staff from the \u201cKeshikchidagh\u201d and \u201cAvey\u201d State Historical and Cultural Reserves, as well as the Aghstafa Youth House Social Service Institution.<br \/>\nThe masterclass was dedicated to the topic \u201cScientific Research and Archaeological Excavations at Historical Monuments in the Liberated Territories of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, as well as in the Western Region of Azerbaijan.\u201d During the presentation, Associate Professor Parviz Gasimov shared the results of comprehensive archaeological investigations carried out at the Panahali Khan Palace Complex located in the Aghdam district and the Uzerliktepe settlement.<br \/>\nThe discussions provided an in-depth analysis of the types of material culture samples, burial customs, and the scientific significance of these findings in studying the ancient history of Azerbaijan. Special attention was drawn to the destructive actions committed against the region\u2019s cultural heritage during the period of Armenian occupation. The extent of the damage to monuments and the challenges posed for scientific reconstruction were emphasized.<br \/>\nUsing visual materials such as photographs and cartographic documents, a comparative analysis of the initial and current condition of the monuments was conducted. Additionally, the scientific and tourism potential of these regions was assessed for the future.
