\nThis valuable artifact was discovered in Kurgan 2 of the Karvan deresi area and stands out not only for its antiquity but also as a fine example of ancient craftsmanship. Despite their warrior reputation, Scythian women expressed elegance and delicacy through their attire and jewelry. These ornaments served as tangible symbols of their social status and cultural values, while also reflecting the advanced metallurgical and goldsmithing skills of their time. The gold ornaments were found in a concealed section of the kurgan known as a “tainik,” a hidden chamber often reserved for elite individuals or family members. This discovery sheds light on Scythian cultural and religious beliefs, as well as the preparations made for the afterlife. Studies suggest that such ornaments might have been used for adorning the deceased or as protective elements in their passage to the next world. The motifs featured in the design provide valuable insights into the religious beliefs, mythology, and social structure of the era.<\/p>\n
