The obsidian blades discovered in the reserve area are black in color with carefully retouched edges.<br \/>\nThese sharp-edged tools were most likely used for skinning hunted animals, cutting meat, and processing plants. In some primitive societies, obsidian blades also held ritual significance and were used in ceremonies, including sacrificial rites.
