\nThese spindle whorls were discovered between the upper covering stones of the central burial chamber of Yovshanlidere Kurgan No. 4. They were produced by cutting thick-walled, light red clay vessels; their edges were trimmed and smoothed, and a central perforation was made. The surface of the spindle whorls is covered with a thick layer of accretion. All specimens have been preserved intact. Two of them are comparatively larger (diameters 6.5\u20137 cm), while the remaining three are of smaller size (diameters 5.5\u20136 cm). The diameter of the central perforation ranges between 1.5 and 1.8 cm.
\nThese findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the ritual\u2013ceremonial inventory of the kurgan and are regarded as valuable archaeological material that demonstrates the functional diversity of ceramic products within the Yovshanlidere kurgan complex.<\/p>\n
