\nA four-flanged bronze spearhead measuring approximately 30 cm in length was discovered slightly to the west of the skull of the buried individual. The socketed (tubular) construction of the spearhead is well preserved, and organic remains of the original wooden shaft were observed on the inner surface of the socket. A single perforation \u2014 interpreted as a nail or rivet hole used to secure the wooden shaft \u2014 is present at the distal end of the socket. The manufacturing technique suggests that the spearhead was likely formed by bending a bronze sheet. The blade portion is notably longer than the socket. The pronounced extension of the blade relative to the socket indicates that the object functioned as a throwing-piercing type spear.
\nThe anatomical position of the skeleton and the deposition dynamics of the associated limb bones suggest that the deceased was interred in a posture resembling a spear-throwing stance with the right hand, which may point to a ritual-symbolic significance attributed to the weapon. Such spearheads are considered extremely rare not only within Azerbaijan but across the entire South Caucasus region. Its typological characteristics and technological features highlight the exceptional scientific value of the find and provide important insights into the bronze weapon-making traditions of the region.<\/p>\n
