\nThe seashell necklace discovered during recent excavations in the Jeyranchol area is one of the remarkable archaeological findings that provide valuable insights into the cultural, social, and religious life of ancient people in this area. Such artifacts offer significant information about the deep connection of ancient societies with nature, their trade relations, and aesthetic values. These necklaces were typically made from seashells of marine or river origin. The shells were perforated or polished and then strung together to create necklaces or other ornaments. This particular seashell, brought from the Mediterranean coast through trade routes, was not only used as a decorative accessory but was also considered a sacred protective object in ancient beliefs. It was believed to bring good fortune to its owner. According to ancient traditions, seashells were thought to ward off evil spirits and provide strength and prosperity to their possessor.<\/p>\n
