According to the order of May 23, 2016 and the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Executive Power of Agstafa region, on May 28 on the Republic Day an “open day” and an excursion to the territory of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Keshikchidag” was organized for the purpose of studying and promoting material- cultural monuments located on this territory. Teachers and pupils of the secondary school No. 1 named after Amirkhan Huseynov in Agstafa took part in this excursion. Employees of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Keshikchidag” together with tourists climbed to the highest point of the reserve on the “peak named after Ilham Aliyev”, named in honor of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Employees of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Keshikchidag” provided with detailed information about the history and importance of our monuments in this area, as well as the work carried out in the field of study and the significance of the Republic Day on May 28.
