From the flora of our reserve Wild Linen

Flax is one of the interesting plant species that grows in spring in Keshikchidagh caves complex. Cultivated flax plant easily turns into a wild form. According to some reports, the first fields of cultural flax were the Middle East, the Caucasus (Azerbaijan), Europe and Asia. Based on the remains of flax obtained as a result of archeological excavations in these areas, scientists say that it was cultivated in the Stone Age.
