Asparagus
Asparagus is one of the plants that grows in the spring, especially in April, in the “Saggizli” and “Karvan Deresi” old living camps located in the Keshikchidagh caves complex.
The wild asparagus was found 4,000 years ago in ancient Egypt and later in ancient Rome. It grows wild in Azerbaijan, and among the people there are merechoyud, kushkonmaz, meroyche, manchor, molla choreyi and so on, known as, is used as a food and medicinal plant. Asparagus, which is not easy to collect, is one of the most useful vegetables in the world with its vitamins and minerals.
